I had the honor of being asked to read an advance copy of Dr. Hansen’s book, Triumph over Trauma. As a member of the psychedelic’s industry (we supply naturally derived GMP psilocybin to researchers) I was keen to read it. Dr. Hansen has delivered a wondered primer for those new to the exciting promise provided by psychedelics. He covers the history, misconceptions, misinformation and outright lies that have caused so many patients to have been deprived access these wonderful plant-based compounds. And Dr. Randall Hansen is the very personification of a genuine Thought Leader on the subject of Healing from Trauma. I read Triumph Over Trauma cover-to-cover without putting it down. I truly enjoyed the inspiring quotes which sets the reader’s frame of mind in the most open-minded manner designed to absorb the wise words that seem to just flow like a soothing mountain stream. Kudos indeed! The book is what I call pivotal work on a subject which time has finally come. This book by Dr. Hansen is an excellent introduction for those new to the topic of psychedelics, and a refreshing reminder for those of us who have a history with psychedelics. The first portion of the book explores each substance, in depth. The remainder is a serious of first-hand accounts of personal psychedelic experiences, from a broad spectrum of people, who share how their use of psychedelics has impacted their lives. The book also contains a concise, yet comprehensive chapter exploring the topic of micro-dosing.
